{"id":3682,"date":"2023-04-18T23:37:00","date_gmt":"2023-04-18T14:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sample2.react.bz\/?p=3682"},"modified":"2023-09-12T00:29:45","modified_gmt":"2023-09-11T15:29:45","slug":"%e3%80%8c-%e5%87%bd-%e9%a4%a8-%e5%86%99-%e7%9c%9f-%e5%b1%95-%e3%80%8d%e7%ac%ac%e4%b9%9d%e5%bc%be%e3%80%80%e6%9e%97%e6%a5%ad%e7%b7%a8%e5%a7%8b%e3%81%be%e3%82%8a%e3%81%be%e3%81%97%e3%81%9f","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paysdesmaimai.com\/en\/past-exhibition\/3682\/","title":{"rendered":"Hakodate Photo Exhibition Part 9: Forestry has begun!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hakodate Photo Exhibition Part 9: Forestry<br>It started on April 17.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the 2020 census, the number of people engaged in forestry has been on a long-term downward trend, and the aging of the forestry industry has been progressing, with 25% of the population aged 65 or older.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The demand for timber itself has continued to decline, pushed by imported timber, which is competitive in terms of price and quantity, and this has led to a noticeable shift away from the forestry industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u3000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to its frequent coverage in the media, the public image of logging is that \"logging = destruction of nature,\" and I too have been under the misapprehension that this is the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Excessive logging can greatly disturb the ecosystem, causing landslides and loss of nature's cleansing function, but effective logging can help protect nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We were able to capture the daily lives of these forestry-around-the-forest people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We hope that many of you will be able to view this season's exhibition.
